The Remin kits are based on measurements taken on each individual vehicle model by the company's measuring team. These measurements are the base for the computer assisted design creating digital patterns that govern the CNC laser cutters producing the kits. Before any kit is commissioned for production, each piece is test fitted to an actual vehicle, to make sure that the fit is perfect and that the piece is easy to place. The CNC laser cutters ensure that every kit is cut to perfection with clean cuts. The advanced color match system ascertains that the factory match pieces get the very same pattern and color tone as the factory installed trim. The trim pieces are mounted with 3M automotive grade adhesive backing for secure permanent attachment. All trim parts, except the real metal parts, are coated in a scratch resistant, UV protecting polyurethane clear coat. This is a coating that never peels and keeps the color of the underlying material intact. With a Remin dash kit you will never have the problems encountered with traditional wood or wood imitation kits, where wood colors bleach and the protective coating peels. But I digress, the Xenon lights are great and at least for me were easy to install. The dash kit I bought for my Silverado looks super not tacky and overdone. Overall my experience with CARiD has been great and in the future I need not go anywhere else for parts that work and make my truck look and feel new with any part I get. This is the best upgrade for the money. I put it on a 2009 Silverado LT. It made it look like the interior of a LTZ! I was surprised at the ease of installation. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate CarID products a 10. I found other dash kits at much higher prices, but not as impressive. Material seems very high quality. "

Price/Value Quality "This product looked pretty cool when I had seen it. Kinda pricey in my opinion, but the end result is awesome! Even though it says that a heat gun is not required to install this product on your car, I strongly recommend one! Also, it comes with alcohol prep pads. Good idea... but not so good on the amount of alcohol prep pads that it supplies. It's a good product (I chose the real carbon fiber, made my '11 Silverado look real sharp), but I strongly recommend having a heat gun, a bottle of rubbing alcohol, and a few lint-free hand towels to wipe your surface down."
