Audi S4 Sedan Normal Roof without Factory Cross Bars 2009-2013, Sidearm Roof Bike Rack by ThuleŽ. Many of today's expensive high-tech bikes feature frames made from exotic materials like carbon fiber, which can be easily damaged if mishandled. The Sidearm bike rack holds the bike by the front wheel with no frame contact, so there's no chance of damaging the frame. It accommodates bikes with features like disc brakes and 20" to 29" wheel diameters with tires up to 2.6" wide. The Sidearm features a corrosion resistant double-wall aluminum tray and fits Thule rack systems, round bars and most factory racks.
Features:
If you're concerned about damage to your bike's frame, the Sidearm Roof Bike Rack is the carrier to use. The exclusive SecureHook holds the bike by grabbing the front wheel. Your bike's frame is protected because no frame contact is made.
A strong, rigid and corrosion resistant double-wall aluminum tray is the foundation of the Sidearm carrier. It attaches to Thule rack systems, round bars and most factory racks, and cradles wheels from 20" to 29" diameters with tires up to 2.6" wide. And along with the SecureHook, your bike is secured to the tray with a ratcheting strap through the rear wheel. The Sidearm is versatile, accommodating bikes with disc brakes, thru-axles and non-traditional frame designs. Two One-Key lock cylinders (sold separately) can be used to lock the bike to the carrier and the carrier to the roof rack.
A Thule roof carrier protects your bike from road dirt better than hitch or trunk racks. And the stable and secure roof rack attachment also gives you the versatility to add other accessories to the base rack. The Thule Sidearm Roof Bike Rack comes with everything required for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.

I was amazed at the ease of installation of this product. I took my time and read the directions carefully. When I tested it out with my bike, it seemed secure. It comes with a bike stabilizer and a strap for extra securing of the bike. The only thing, I wish it had was a strap to keep the front wheel of the bike from moving. But I secured it with a bungee cord that I provided. Good value for the money.

The 918 was delivered promptly, and it is a rugged piece of equipment, just as the original 916 tray carrier is. This is the best bike rack system I have ever had. The only downside is the weight, but that is what makes these devices durable.
