To create the AeroBlade Edge, Thule combined all the features of their premium, aerodynamic AeroBlade load bar with integral rack feet. The result is the lowest profile, most aerodynamic, and strongest load bar you can buy. The AeroBlade load bar is a unique combination of aerodynamic design for a quiet ride and Boxbeam construction for strength. WindDiffuser™ is a textured surface on the T-slot cover that disturbs the airflow better than a smooth surface, greatly reducing wing noise. The Boxbeam aluminum extrusion creates a load bar that is so strong it withstood a vertical load test of over 800 lbs. of force in a laboratory test (Thule advises that you not exceed the AeroBlade Edge’s recommended maximum load capacity). The load bar and rack feet come pre-assembled, and the integrated rack feet are designed to slide on the ends of the load bar to accommodate fixed points and flush rails within each rack’s range.
The AeroBlade Edge is easy to install; the load bar and rack feet come pre-assembled. Just attach the adapters in the Fit Kit to each foot and position the rack on the roof. Tighten the adapter/rack alternately and evenly with the included tool, following the instructions supplied with the Fit Kit and the rack, until the rack is secured to the roof, and then install the covers over each foot. The rack can be locked by installing the included One-Key lock cylinders. Once installed, you’ll find that the arched lightweight bar follows the curves and lines of the roofline, complementing your vehicle’s styling and making the AeroBlade Edge a welcome addition. The AeroBlade load bar is T-track compatible for fast mounting of Thule carriers, although some may require Xadapt adapters.
The AeroBlade Edge is sold 1 bar per pack. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer’s defects in materials or workmanship.199.95
