It arrived quickly, well packaged, and installation went without a hitch. The hardest part was removing the factory tow hooks and navigating around the lower front grille while installing the mounts."

I purchased this Black Horse Grill Guard from CARID mainly because they were the only website that listed this thing fitting a 2012 Jeep Liberty. I was pretty sure nothing had changed since 2011 but wanted to make sure. I received the order promptly and as others have reviewed it is well packeged by the manufacturer. Unfortunately UPS must have dropped it because the bottom bar was dented and bent once I opened it. Long story short CARID sent me out another one which arrived in the same packaging but unscathed this time. As far as the install, I was lucky enough to have a friend with a heated garage and a lift in it so it made things much easier. We installed this without removing any trim or the bumper but I have to admit he had a wrench that had multiple pivots and and air wrench so the regular joe might not be able to get at the bolts. You have to remove and cannot reinstall the factory tow hooks on a Jeep Liberty. Very easy install, place some threaded plates and bolt it up. I have since added some fog lights into the pre dilled holes and it looks great!"

Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "I purchased this for my 2010 Jeep Liberty. It looks awesome. Took about an hour to install. Be advised that the provided instructions begin after removal of factory tow hooks. You may need to do some research on your make and model to get at the bolts. I had to remove part of the bumper molding. The bumper was shipped with a ton of wrapping, cardboard, and foam but some minor scratches and chips from shipping were present. The only set back I had was that the driver side mounting bracket was actually stamped with a "P" and the passenger side with a "D". They only fit one way and I verified the correct positioning with the pictures on the instructions. All in all it was only a minor inconvenience. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend."
