Replace your driver’s side factory upper control arm with these stout pieces from ReadyLIFT. The unique tab-and-slot welded construction makes them far stronger and more durable than OEM parts. The squeak-free stainless and Teflon uniball upper joint allows for more angularity than the stock ball joint, meaning no binding at the limits of suspension travel. That translates directly to not only a smoother ride, but also improved traction over rough surfaces. The uniball is installed at the correct angle to support lifted applications, but this control arm will work fine on stock, leveled or lifted trucks. The inner bushings have a Zerk fitting to make them easy to grease. The hardened 4340 chrome-moly center pin makes the conversion from the stock ball joint simple. About 12 years ago, ReadyLIFT founder and CEO Scott Poncher realized that there was a market for people who wanted to lift their trucks only a few inches, not the six inches or more that most lift kits were set up to do. A few inches were enough to make the truck’s stance level (instead of drooped down in front, as seems to be common today), or to accommodate slightly larger wheels and tires. There was no option for these customers that didn’t raise the truck more than necessary, was easy to install and reasonably priced. And so ReadyLIFT was born to bring a line of reasonably-priced, but still highly-engineered and well-made moderate-rise lift kits to market.
