GrillCraft MX-Series Grilles are made from our exclusive steel mesh pattern design along with our micro-frame design. All MX-Series grilles are zinc plated then finished with a 3Stage baked on powder coating in either Aluminum Silver (Shines like polished aluminum in sun light) or Gloss Black finish. GrillCraft is committed to ensuring that every MX-Series Grille we produce will exceed your expectations, guaranteed.

The quality of the grill exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Unlike the other brands, GrillCraft has a thin border around the grill and is not noticeable, which shows off the pattern of the mesh. The workmanship and finish is excellent and very sturdy. The appearance of my car is 100% better than before. I found that taking off the front bumper to install the grill is the best way to go, but for 350z owners they will need to paint the chrome hitch black that is in the upper middle of the radiator area before putting the bumper back on."

Install took a couple of hours for both top and bottom mesh. I cut out all three sides of the plastic on the oem grill for a cleaner look. If you have red air horns like I do, you will have to paint them black or relocate as it can be seen threw the grill."

They were reasonably easy to install. The two outside inserts required me to cut out the existing honeycomb. They look great and protect my radiator from bugs and debris."

It's always hard to tell what you are getting some times from the pictures and this is the case here. I ordered the chrome version. It fit perfect and was easy to install for me - came with everything you need. Tools I used are Flat / phil head screw driver and a socket set. The Grille is one flat piece. It's not round metal weaved which I'm thinking the more expensive grille they make might be. At 1st I was a bit disappointed but after installing it, I was really happy with the look. It really shines nice but it's not like a mirror. I'm very happy with this product, but I'd like to see it compared to the more expensive SW grille. The SW might be worth the extra $100. They need to have better pictures and explain what you are getting better. They looked the same to me on the site, so I got the cheaper one."

Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "The insert is a top notch in quality. I've chosen the black insert and it fits perfectly. It looks grand and is a major improvement over the OEM grill. I must caution you however that to remove the grill and cut out the OEM section to add the new Grillcraft insert, you must remove the intire lower front end of the truck. There are no instructions from Grillcraft on how to do this, so you are on your own. It's worth the effort, but be prepared to spend 3 hours minimum. Good luck!"
