# STC-20291XX - Chevy Avalanche 1500 2002-2010, 3" Round Tube Side Steps by Steelcraft®. Side Bars bolt right up with custom mounting brackets. Polished to a mirror shine look or black coated, these side bars will add a more customized look. All Stainless Steel Side Bars include brackets and hardware which are also stainless, where the other 2 have regular carbon steel brackets and zinc plated hardware.
Steelcraft Side Bars are constructed from 3 inch round tubing. Designed for easy boarding onto your truck, these side bars are equipped with custom polyethlene Step Pads. Made of high grade T-304 stainless steel or black e-coated carbon steel, Steelcraft Side Bars are known for their long lasting. Their easy installation does not require drilling or cutting.

Installation was easy and I did it without any help. A total of 6 bolts (3 on each side) had to be removed from the truck to install the support brackets and the bars attach with 6 bolts (3 on each side). Bars look good on the truck, so I have no complaints. They have only been on the truck for a week and a half, so we'll see how they perform in the winter in a few months. I do like the black rubber over the chrome bars where you step. I had a set of Westin's on my previous truck and they got slick in the winter once snow accumulated on the bars. Hopefully the rubber decreases the slickness."
