There’s no need for any cutting or drilling to install your bodyside moldings. They’re pre-cut and install with 3M™ automotive-grade double-sided tape. Determine where you want the molding, peel back the cover from the tape, and press the molding into place. And our computerized paint mixing system enables us to guarantee that your moldings will match your factory paint.

I went on-line to CARiD and found exactly what I was looking for on their website. I ordered the already painted bodyside molding and received it within a week. It was very easy to apply as it comes with automotive grade adhesive tape. I only needed a small level to be sure I applied it straight. The color matches perfectly! It looks like the car came with it! Definitely recommend this product. Just get your car's color code first and then order it! Love it!"

Price/Value Quality "The chrome molding strip add some class to the car it like a eye catcher I really like and it was easy to install did it in about 25 to 30 min. Once you line it up straight make sure it where you won't it because it really stick and won't come off so make sure it right before you peel off the tape to stick it on. Very simple."

To get max results you need to first have your 2001 Sonata tinted. Adding the chrome is the next touch to give your car the look like it's one of those crazy expensive european cars. My wife thought, she saw my car driving by because she noticed the chrome moldings (she knew to look because she helped me put them on) but it was a B-mer driving by. The instructions could have used more detail - especially with additional measurements, but overall it wasn't as hard as I thought. After I put the first side on, the other side was a breeze. I was initially having struggles and considered taking it to a shop and then my wife encouraged me by saying (classic lines), "Look, if some stoner from a body shop can do this - and you would pay him...I think you can handle this." So with newfound resolve, I was determined to put these on myself (with my wife's help, ahem). In retrospect, it wasn't that bad. Make sure you use painter's tape (the blue stuff) so the lines you need are straight and easy to take off. The style of the moldings fits nicely with the car as the same lines are incorporated with the moldings. They have a nice tapered effect and really do look as if they were always part of the car. It's not as if you're putting on some cheesy chrome strips. These are actually cool and stylish. I've seen some cheap chrome jobs and this is NOT one of those. They're solid and give the car a nice look. Now if I could only find a grill that looked just like the original with the aggressive creases that match the curves from the hood and did away with the glaring Hyundai "H" in the front, I'd have my car complete. I know, I know. I'm driving a Hyundai. I just don't have to advertise to the whole world do I? In any case, I'm stoked on these chrome moldings and if you're considering putting a little polish on your car, this may be the next hot item to spice up your car and give it that extra something to make it shine. "
