Steelcraft grille guards are made of the following materials:Made from high grade T-304 stainless steel for enhanced durability. T-304 steel is known for its corrosion, heat and cold resistance. Polished to a blinding shine T-304 stainless steel grill guards by Steelcraft deliver reliable protection and are a hot addition to the image of your truck. T-304 stainless steel grill guards are backed by lifetime warranty.
Made from black e-coated carbon steel. An up-to-date finishing process called electrocoating is used to achieve black powder-coated steel products at Steelcraft. Electricity of opposite electrical charges is run through the carbon steel grill guards and a special black paint solution. That delivers a firm connection between the paint and steel, creating a long lasting finish with minimized chances of flaking or cracking. 5 year warranty is applied to black e-Coat carbon steel grill guards.

The grill is all one piece and easy to install once you figure out where to put the "nut plates." The drawings could be better at explaining that. Also, you'll have to remove the hooks before the install. Again, a sentence in the directions could have made that clear. Overall however, it's not rocket science and grill really adds to the look of my Jeep. Solid buy."

The Grille has a high quality paint finish with rubber guards on the front to stop rubbing. It has 2 holes pre-drilled at both far outside edges of the flat center bar which were perfect for mounting my driving lights! This is great for bush driving so you don't scratch up your front end from that low lying brush. The bar itself is also light. It's sturdy but it's quite light. If you're looking for something to block from deer hits or other large animals, it won't stop them without bending. I haven't hit any yet but judging from the light feel of the steel bars, it wouldn't take a really hard hit to bend them. But that being said, I would rather have my grille guard bent in on an impact than have the animal strike the body of the truck or, lord forbid, the new headlights. Overall, its look is incredible which is what I was ultimately going for, so high five to a Bad Ass looking Grille Guard."

Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "The grille guard look great on my truck! It gives a soficticated look, not so overwelming. Exactly right. The installation took me about 4 hours, nice and easy. The biggest problem is to torque the bolts behind the grill, the upper brackets. In the installationguide are no torquefigures for the bolts, you have to look them up. I justed 72 nm for the 12 mm bolts, 40 nm for hte 10 mm bolts. The quality is ok, I think that the price/value is good. And once agsin, it looks great. "
