2007 Mazda 6 Custom Grilles

First, I wanted black not chrome. This isn't available in black so I had to get it powdercoated. Of course that is my choice. Second, the fitment isn't great. For the main grille, it's not bad, but a bit small. But the fog grilles are bad for fitment. I was able to make it do, but it was some work to deal with the fitment. I think I didn't get the screws and nuts I was supposed to get, though it is possible I lost them. Not certain. At any rate, I'm not convinced the built-in screws are good for holding it in place. I used an adhesive that sticks to plastic. Finally, are you wanting to actually cut the stock pieces so that only these parts are the entire grille, or do you not care and just want to stick it on top of the original parts with no modification to the original parts? FYI, on the driver side, there is a stock power steering cooler and making the vent a real vent can improve cooling. And on the passenger side, I plan to add an oil cooler. So I want to make that side a real vent too. And to improve airflow to my FMIC, I want as much air flowing through the main grille. So I've put in a custom crash bar and cut out the center of the stock grille. The end result is good. But, I wish it was available in black to begin with. And I wish it had better fitment.
