Jeep Wrangler 2007-2010, Roof Rack System by MBRP®. Jeep JK Wranglers are kinda short on trunk space, so MBRP has developed this very cool roof rack system. Any weight carried on the rack is transferred to the Jeep’s tub through reinforcements inside the body. Some drilling required.
- 2” black powdercoated round steel
- Tubing is mandrel-bent for constant diameter
- Weight is carried through to the Jeep tub
- Adjustable crossbar
- Precision-cut gaskets to keep interior dry and clean
- Some drilling required
- Hardware included
Precision-cut rubber gaskets keep the interior leak-free where the exterior rack is bolted through the body to the interior. The 2” mandrel-bent round tubing is powdercoated in a durable black finish. Once installed, the rack system can be left in place on the hardtop when it’s removed, making that task easier by far. Adjustable crossbars make the system extremely versatile, allowing you to custom-tailor the crossbar location and will support hundreds of pounds of cargo safely.
Fifteen years ago, MBRP® started in the exhaust business by introducing the B&B Eliminator, a silencer that quickly became the best-selling snow machine muffler of all time. Exhaust system technology being as universal as it is, they soon branched off into cars, Jeeps, and diesel trucks, with amazing success. One of their secrets has been the practice of making as many universal-fit kits as possible. A couple of extra parts in the box means that a single kit might fit a number of different wheelbase pickup trucks, for instance. Reducing complexity in ordering is better for them, better for their distributors, and a great benefit for their customers, who are more likely to be able to find a kit that fits their vehicle on hand. In addition, they go to great lengths to make sure their systems fit properly every time. Careful attention to design and fabrication delivers a system that doesn’t need customization with a hammer to fit properly before the car or truck comes off the lift.
