2007 Ford Mustang Roof Spoilers

I love the design of the wing and how it complements my car. However, it only lasted 8 days before it started to separate from the glass and sink in the middle which may've contributed to the ends coming up? I took it off and will attempt to retape the wing with 3M automotive tape with some type of wedge in the middle, I'm thinking that the Sun here in Florida is too intense! If a retape doesn't do it then I've purchased some Loctite adhesive specific to glass/plastic adhesion. Could this item been a prototype and not thick enough to stand up to Florida heat? I really don't understand what could've gone wrong with initial install ,shop followed instructions to the letter, truly hoping that tape was @ fault here, I let you know!
