Nice Running Boards

These are nice looking and sturdy running boards. The instructions for installation are difficult. In fact, you cannot do it the way it describes or you would not be able to fasten all the bolts.

Great boards! Only problem is the bracing - it is a little weak compared to the rest of the product.

Well, I haven't installed them yet cause I was sent the wrong steps, but they replaced them for free (with no shipping charges), and they look awesome. A lot better than the chrome tube steps the every single truck out there has, I just wanted something different and these look like. They're so well built! You can probably put a jack under it and lift the truck if u had to.

The Best I've Seen

I am extremely pleased with the quality and appearance of my Iron Cross truck steps. I get compliments daily. The installation was easy. The mounting brackets are thick & sturdy. You can see the quality of each and every piece including the hardware. Best of all they, are made in the USA!

Nice Steps

They were easy to install, look great. If they came out about another 1 to 11/2 inches it would be better. Getting out, they are in and only a small part of the heel of the shoe fit on them.

Iron Cross Stainless Steel PlusStep

My installation is on a 2004 F-150 Ford Super Cab 4x4 with OEM suspension. The nerf bars were very straightforward to install - about 2 hrs per side. Tools that I used included a ratchet with 1/2 and a 9/16th deep socket - a torque wrench (not necessary but used it because I had one). No holes to drill; everything easily fit and aligned into existing factory holes which surprised me. I really like how the entire package aligned perfectly to the rest of the truck's body - very tight and true. The steps are truly adjustable and removable (4 bolts per step). Quality is outstanding. The rail that holds everything together is made of heavy duty metal that comes powder coated. The anchors that bolt to the frame to which the rail attaches are heavy duty reinforced metal that is powder coated. Each end of the PLUS step that attaches to the rail are also very heavy-duty metal. There is nothing in the entire set that is flimsy or of poor quality. Where there is welding, it is well done. The stainless is highly polished to an exact mirror finish that is uniform with no hint of abrasion or under/over polishing. This is a high-quality product. The utility of the steps is spot on. We use the truck for a variety of purposes including occasionally taking it to more formal events. My wife used to complain about having to hike up her skirt a bit in order to crawl into the cab of the truck. The PLUS step is positioned low enough for her to easily slip into the cab. To say she loves the new installation is putting it mildly. I haven't yet taken the steps off for four-wheeling, but that will not be a problem. I really like that the bar sits right under the rocker panel of the truck. I have no hesitation recommending the Iron Cross PLUS Step package.

The side steps were easy to install and they look great. I would highly recommend them for a custom look. They took about an hour to install.

Really a Heavy Duty Look !!

Easy to install, 30 min. job. Tough as they said, and a realy distinctive look. Not those round steps that everybody have, this is the "one of a kind" look that I was looking for my truck ! Definitive 100% recommendable, IRON CROSS really rocks.
