The ridges also help to keep the cargo from slipping, an effect that is enforced by the anti-skid properties of the surface material. A high lip around the perimeter contains dirt and moisture until it is time for cleaning. The surface is made to repel dirt, and the pattern has an open design that is easy to clean.
