The Remin kits are based on measurements taken on each individual vehicle model by the company’s measuring team. These measurements are the base for the computer assisted design creating digital patterns that govern the CNC laser cutters producing the kits. Before any kit is commissioned for production, each piece is test fitted to an actual vehicle, to make sure that the fit is perfect and that the piece is easy to place. The CNC laser cutters ensure that every kit is cut to perfection with clean cuts. The advanced color match system ascertains that the factory match pieces get the very same pattern and color tone as the factory installed trim. The trim pieces are mounted with 3M automotive grade adhesive backing for secure permanent attachment. All trim parts, except the real metal parts, are coated in a scratch resistant, UV protecting polyurethane clear coat. This is a coating that never peels and keeps the color of the underlying material intact. With a Remin dash kit you will never have the problems encountered with traditional wood or wood imitation kits, where wood colors bleach and the protective coating peels. The truck is desert sand mica the interior is the same except the dash as a fairly dark brown. My dash kit is honey burl. Everyone that has seen the truck can't believe how good it looks. The kit went on real easy, fit like it was a factory installation. Thanks for a great product and I would highly recommend these kits to anyone."

He said no. Well.....it is flat, and about 1/8" to 3/16" thick. I now know the term for not being flat is 3d (which is what I was thinking this would be). When the package arrived, the product felt a little soft and still tacky. I almost sent it back, but I am very glad I did'nt. This stuff is simply amazing. Its flexible (in warm temperature), so it contours to the shape of your dash, but you have to be very careful with some of the thinner pieces. It was a little nerve racking installing this, because it is difficult to remove if you stick it down wrong, although if applied lightly, it can be pulled back up to relocate. The large piece around the instrument cluster is very tricky. This product looks great, and although most pieces fit perfectly, the pieces around the radio do not fit, so I didnt use them, which was too much anyway. Did not use the door trim pieces because they only cover the top and not the sides, which leaves a cheap look. Overall, nice product, but to install properly, plan a day to do this. You also have to think and plan ahead on which piece needs to be installed ahead of the others as not to see the edge. (some edges are tapered and finished, and some are not) Nice looking install and glad I did it. Great Product"
