Mercedes CLS Class 2006, Rear Trailer Hitch Receiver by CURT®. These trailer hitches allow the use of equalizing hitches to transfer excess tongue weight to the front axle of the vehicle. You can also get a removable ball mount. This means the hitch ball and its ball mount can be removed and stowed when not trailering. A hitch receiver is also a handy place to mount a bicycle rack, cargo carrier or other receiver-mounted accessory. A receiver-mounted winch or step are good examples.

If your vehicle already has a factory-mounted hitch receiver, it may not be rated to tow the trailer you’d like to. Bearing in mind the Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) rating of your vehicle, you may wish to upgrade the OEM receiver with one of higher capacity. Choose between a "hidden" receiver that lurks right under the bumper, or a hitch receiver that sets lower to the ground and allows the use of a ball mount with less drop.

However, two persons will be better, only one screw didn't fit on the driver side, however 5 other screws are already installed on this side which seems enough. Look nice, not affecting the car image much and does the job perfectly.

F. | 1997 Honda Accord (Merryville, LA)I received this well-made hitch for my Scion IQ, which I had just installed the curt receiver hitch with no problems. The receiver is strong being one force piece and looks really good on this car. I really like the 3 sizes that are available for this design, which allows you to get the right height for the trailer you are going to be pulling. Now the hitch has been painted chrome and really looks good. On this small car, the receiver hitch feels like It is attached to the seat you are sitting in. I think it is the best one for the Scion IQ.
