The Remin kits are based on measurements taken on each individual vehicle model by the company's measuring team. These measurements are the base for the computer assisted design creating digital patterns that govern the CNC laser cutters producing the kits. Before any kit is commissioned for production, each piece is test fitted to an actual vehicle, to make sure that the fit is perfect and that the piece is easy to place. The CNC laser cutters ensure that every kit is cut to perfection with clean cuts. The advanced color match system ascertains that the factory match pieces get the very same pattern and color tone as the factory installed trim. The trim pieces are mounted with 3M automotive grade adhesive backing for secure permanent attachment. All trim parts, except the real metal parts, are coated in a scratch resistant, UV protecting polyurethane clear coat. This is a coating that never peels and keeps the color of the underlying material intact. I still wanted the interior to feel like a luxury vehicle to transport my clients, but felt the original basic factory dash was a bit too rustic. After reading the reviews on this product, I thought I could easily add an element of warmth to the plain black dashboard. I ordered this kit for the dash and optional 3 piece speaker sound bar kit in the medium burled wood. My Jeep has the dark saddle leather interior and the caramel and brown burled wood color tones work together perfectly. It was so easy to install, seriously, the hardest part was pulling the pieces off the large cardboard glue sheet they were packaged and shipped on. I was afraid I was going to break some of the pieces trying to remove them, but didn't. That stuff is SUPER sticky!!! I highly recommend you dry fit all the pieces before you remove the red 3M tape backing and see their fit in relation to the surrounding pieces. One review said they needed extra glue promoter for some areas, so I requested that extra tubes be sent. Customer Service was quite helpful and had several extras included in my order, but the adhesive is so strong, I didn't even open one tube. Every piece is perfectly secured. It adds such an element of sophistication and my friends and clients couldn't tell it wasn't factory installed. I would have given it a perfect 5 star quality rating, however the white lettering printed on pieces that fit around the radio tuner and volume dials was smudged and crooked. I preferred the look without using these pieces anyway, so it really wasn't an issue for me. I notified customer service to let them know about this quality issue for future orders, and they issued me a $20 gift card for any inconvenience! The only other issue I had was with the gear shifter panel. Although the item specifies it will fit up to the 2011 model, Customer Service contacted the manufacture for me and was told this product would fit my vehicle as well. Jeep must have made a change from the 2011 model, as this piece did not line up with my 2012 gear formation. Customer service then contacted the manufacturer and advised me they would be laser-cutting a new piece to fit my shifter design that would be a perfect match and it would be shipped out right away. You can't ask for better service than that. This kit comes with so many pieces, you may decide not to use them all. You may need a second set of hands if you are installing the sound bar 3 piece kit. It requires precise alignment because the pieces and seams are so large and can be tough to handle alone once you remove the tape backing because it's so flexible. I did it myself but was a bit sore the next day from working overhead with the front seat fully reclined...kind of like Michelangelo!. Make sure you use the alcohol wipes to clean any dirt and grease from all surfaces and dry fit and mark with a pencil where the edges meet, or the outer rings won't be perfectly centered over the speakers. If you lightly press the adjacent corners on your first attempt, you can remove and replace as needed for a perfect fit. It took a little over an hour and a half to install everything and I am just thrilled with this product and the service I received from CARiD.com. who, by the way, had the best price on the internet. They also have a low price guarantee. A big thanks to them for giving me the stylish interior I was hoping for. I wish there was a way to post a picture... It looks SPECTACULAR! "
