Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality All Aries Automotive Grill Guards reviews >>ARIES - 3" Bull Bar with Stainless Skid PlatePosted on 02/17/11 Howard L. - 2010 Ford Explorer (Rochester, MN)Appearance Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "Ford Truck Explorer 2010 Aries Bull Bar 3" with Stainless Skid Plate looks good and will do the job I needed it for. I like to carry my Kayak on the roof but my Explorer has no place to tie a rope from the kayak to the Explorer front. Therefore, I needed something to tie a rope to with some strengh that would keep pressure off the front of the vehicle. It was easy to put on and had extra hardware that was not needed for my vehicle. The wind dam and radiator protection had to come off the vehicle as the Aries protects the radiator and provides some wind dam protection to. I have not heard any additional noise from either removing the mentioned items nor from the addition of the bull bar. Installation took about 30 minutes working from a rack. It installed without any modifications except what is mentioned above. I am very satisfied. It does cover the license plate up slightly. May be I will raise it a few inches. I now feel that I has looks, protection and a place to tie my Kayak to."
