Each body panel is engineered for the specific vehicle. All parts are crafted from hi-temp, hand-laid real carbon fiber for exceptional strength and durability. All carbon fiber parts are shipped with a clear gelcoat finish. For best results we suggest a clear coat be applied prior to installation. All mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included.
Following this procedure is extremely important:If a customer fails to fully open up the box(es) and inspect their merchandise for damage, and signs the freight carrier's paperwork indicating that all merchandise was inspected (which is what is stated on all freight carriers paperwork), inspects their merchandise after the freight carrier leaves and then finds damage, or what is called "concealed damage", neither the freight carrier, nor RKSport nor CARiD will be responsible to replace or pay for repairs to the product.

Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "It took a little adjusting of the fenders and hood hinges, but when we finally got it to set flush...it was a piece of art! The finish wasn't what I was expecting. There are some very minor ripples in the fiberglass, but after six Corvettes I can live with the ripples. The air from the scoop is ported over to the cold air induction and works beautifully. CARiD and RKSport hit a homerun with this one!"

When I say it's a head turner I'm not joking. The SRT8 hood nothing on the RK sport hood. It's the best investment I ever invested in. But the only thing I didn't like was the factory heat shield didn't fit, but overall I love my hood. It changed the whole appearance of the car. Good job."

I installed this item on my 2010 Ford Taurus SHO. Fantastic product. Truly a nice, subtle addition to your ride. Appearance, Installation & Price Point are spot on. This item does not come painted and although it arrived "prepped" from the mfg'er, my painter stated additional sanding and re-primering was necessary, thus the 4 star rating for Quality category. Making your ride stand out with this subtle mod is well worth it IMHO."

I got them sooner than expected which started things off really good. No damage in shipping, packaged really good. Only thing was that I did not get painting instructions, (ie prep work) but I work in auto body repairs, so that was not a problem for me. Good quality, good price. Look really good once painted and put on the car!"
