"I recently purchased the Aries 2.5" Sports Bull Bar for my 2006 Mercedes ML500. I searched several sources, and found this price to be almost 40% less than others for the exact same product. It was also helpful to have "free shipping" for a large packed item of over thirty pounds. I am now looking to order for my Dodge diesel truck. Very satisfied with the product and the transaction."

"This Bar looks awesome on the car. It is however a challenge to install and the instructions and illustrations can use fine tuning. The pictures are a black and white photo copy of the actually picture or so it seems."

"Be aware, the 2012 Kia Soul is considerably changed in the grill area from the previous models. Grill members are more massive, which means they are thicker out front. That being said, the existing Aries Bull Bar is not a direct fit. The Bar must be extended forward about two inches. I used a quarter inch plate on each side to both lower the bar and to move it forward. Be aware that you will have to fabricate two such pieces before you can hope to mount the Bar. The upper support member on the driver's side is blocked by a new box section part on the 2012 which prevents that part from being installed. That weakens the support on that side. The clips on the back side of the Bar's upper cross bar will only barely allow the screws intended to drill into the plastic grill to be inserted. That leaves another questionable support factor. The Bar itself is of heavy construction. If you can get it to hang on, it does look great."

"The product arrived in a large box which was all torn due to the odd shape of the box as it got hung up on the conveyor belt at UPS. Contents appeared to be fine though. Before ordering the bar from Carid, I did research on the internet about the Aries Bull Bar manufacturer. The manufacturer's web site states the product would fit the 2012 Kia Soul. I also reviewed the installation instructions. When the product arrived, the installation instuctions provided were unreadable. I could not make heads or tales of the instructions as the copy provided with the Bull Bar was a very poor quality photocopy with pictures that were very dark making it difficult to interpret what was what in the pictures. After mounting the 4 brackets under the car, the 2 brackets on each side did not line up properly (it was at least 2 inches off on each side). For the 2012 Kia Soul, the manufacturer needs to make a 2 inch extension for each side (under the vehicle) in order to bolt it all together. This 2 inch extension will keep the bar from hitting the lower bumper grille outer housing. After mounting the Bull Bar, which was perfect and the exact shape of the lower grille, however, the 2 mounting brackets on the top of the Bull bar were also 2 inches out from the grille. I had to make my own 2 inch extensions in order to complete the mounting. The bar also protrudes 2 inches out farther but it looks fine. I love the style but the installation and instructions were horrible. "

"This product probably could have been installed in 30 minutes. My Forester did not have a pre-existing license plate bracket on the bumper, so the included instructions and hardware were useless. You will need two 11/4" bolts with matching nuts and large flat washers 1" or larger to distribute the tension on the inside of the bumper fascia. Install these first or you else you will need to remove the bar in order to reach behind the bumper. Also, there are two mounting tabs which are not visible on the product photo."

"The product was exactly as advertised. Installation was a little difficult not because of the directions, but because i had to drill two 5mm holes through the titanium cage around the passenger compartment. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE PRODUCT!!!!!!!!"
