"I installed these on my wife's 2012 Land Rover LR4 HSE-LUX. I'll start with the good things: The running boards construction looks and feels very good. The finish on the running boards almost matches the finish on the black plastic on the bottom of the SUV perfectly, which in turns makes the running boards look like an original factory option. Finally, the packaging of the running boards was very good. When they arrived, there wasn't a single scuff or rub mark, which I found pleasantly surprising. So all in all, high marks and at the end of the day, that should be enough to recommend these to anyone. As for the not so good: The instructions! There were not enough of them, and what little there was to be had, was 90% in Spanish, which I do not speak or read. So as an example, you have to drill out a hole in two places. That much was easy to figure out because of the picture of a drill. Next to the drill was "011." Looking through my drill bits, I has a #11 bit, but it was way too small for the rivet nut to then go into (not sure what to really call the part as the parts list was in Spanish and didn't make much sense). Had the instructions said "011mm," it would have made sense, and while I have never seen metric drill bits in the US, you can always go online and use a drill bit conversion program to find out that you need to use a 7/16" drill bit. This is just one example. I have worked on vehicles for over 25 years and have installed nerd bars before on Chevrolets; however, even this one was a bit of a head scratcher to me. So, I tried the web address that was printed on the instructions hoping to find more information. The web address was no good. Then I tried the phone number for Romik in the instructions, and it did not work as well. Finally, I called CARiD, and with the help of a very friendly and knowledgeable customer service agent, we were able to figure things out. Once you figure out the process, it really is a relatively easy installation, with lots of adjustment built into the product to get things to line up how you want. If they could do a little rework of the instructions with SAE numbers and some English parts descriptions, then these running boards would be a 5 star highly recommend."
"Great product, would recommend to everyone that needs a step up for trucks, RV's, etc. Enhances your vehicle to look fantastic! Already recieves many compliments even from strangers."
"The quality is just great, it pays for its price. Easy to install, even though I am a newbie in car-upgrades, I was able to install in by myself. It took me around 3-4 hours, but at the end, I am loving it. It looks shavy (black tone), and it's really sturdy."
"Great product, of excellent workmanship. Easy installation."
"Looks great, fast delivery for installation. I recommend to do it on a lift or by a professional. "
