He said that it would be better to get aftermarket, and boy he was right. I ordered the painted one and it was very easy to install. I had my wife help me and we didn't even fight. It only took about 1 hour install."

Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "Excellent fit, but could be a little larger overall. Perfect color match. Found directions hard to accomplish with the plastic locator strips so revised installation method by removing the 2 innermost grommets at the hatch upper corners. I held the spoiler in place when positioned right, with double sided tape, then drilled the 2 clearance holes at the 2 grommet locations. I then drilled a smaller hole partway into the spoiler to let the screws bite. I used 2 of the supplied screws to pull the spoiler secure. Also note that this was for a 2008 Sorento not a 2003 as shown below. Maybe the hatches are the same."

You will likely need different screws or to remove some material inside the tailgate to install this, though. I wish they used one piece of release film on the double sided tape, so I could remove a little bit at a time rather than having several individual pieces... I had to remove all the tape to line it up... which was a pain to try to place. I think it's on right... but is it? The screws are securely in place. I had to drill new ones to get it perfect. Expect to have to do a little work. Total time for me, general DIY'ish guy was 1.5 hours."

I did not have the heart to drill holes, so I added more double-sided 3M tape. Will check in the winter to make sure ice doesn't try to pry off. Can always drill later. "
