"Oh my goodness. I got the Rosewood and paid extra for it. It is absolutely the prettiest, richest wood trim you only see in the elite cars. I sit and keep touching it. It is beautiful! I wish I had not had to order all the pieces i did, but only the ones I wanted…it is such a shame to get rid of the rest. A very good investment. I am glad i paid extra for the Rosewood. I also ordered the extra CD piece that is optional. The center console looks incredible with the Rosewood running from the cup holders straight up the CD player. My interior is all black with a little silver on armrests, ashtrays etc. I wondered how the wood would hide the silver. It shows very little around the edge, but I actually like it. It keeps the car from being totally dark. You cannot tell the black around any other edge, because the Rosewood has some black grain in it. I left the Wood off, around the radio buttons. I may add it later. But the black that peaks through in certain little areas act as a frame and makes it look very custom and difficult to do. The whole console looks as if someone spent many hours carving the wood to fit. Love it. I had a custom install navigation/DVD put in the cubbie hole last year. I wanted to take the wood cubbie cover and cut it to fit where my nav is. Wasn't sure how to cut it. Do not use any power tools. They melt and bubble the laminate. But this proved to be so simple. I outlined the back and cut with a very sharp razor blade and metal ruler, from the back into the front. Do not try cutting the front to back. I tried that on an extra piece. Doesn't do well. Cutting from the back was piece of cake. It was also nice to see the layers that went into the product from the cuts. The top coat is very thick. I was pleased with that. Should last a long time. I couldn't find the wax and degreaser CarID recommended. I found some at an auto paint store and worked just fine. Do not skimp on this step! The cleaner base the better sticking. If i had used all the pieces I think it would've looked like the women who wears too much jewelry, wanted my car to be black interior with wood accents. If i had it to do overwise, I would have just done the entire enter console up (which I did) the armrests and the steering wheel buttons. I like the simplicity. My son actually installed and did the door handles, vents and moonroof button. Either way is sharp. I am so very happy with the product, the easy of install and the ambience, my car radiates!! This is a keeper!!!! Oh, I also had a couple of questions and called CarID, they were patient and wonderful. Very pleased with the service and product."

"The reason I opted for the basic kit is because the full kit costs too much, and I'm guessing I'll only be using 60% of all the pieces. It would be better if only all the pieces are for a specific car only. But besides that, overall quality and appearance guaranteed hi-end. It is so easy to install, I even did it in less than 30 mins. The only downside is it took me more than three weeks to get my order as they need to carve out the exact size and pieces so it would fit the proper areas. It looked very nice."

"This Dash Kit for my 2001 Honda Accord Coupe was awesome! The installation was very easy and the material matched my wood grain steering wheel as well. But I want to recommend that if your going to buy a dash kit, make sure that you purchase the dash kit samples first to get a snapshot of the true color scheme."

"I was dubious about putting in such panels with the fear that the overall effect would be cheap and contrived. Nevertheless I had a Honda dealership install the product with the hope that the look would be professional and show room caliber. It has exceeded my expectations and has added that touch of class I was looking for. "
