ATS Design is highly focused on the quality of its products and the satisfaction of its customers. When it comes to metal, ATS Design uses only the highest grade of T-6 aluminum favored by aircraft manufacturers. Before running boards are crafted into shape, engineers relentlessly check all tooling and dies that are used to make sure they have no flaws and are in top condition. Additionally, the quality of all raw materials is checked for consistency. Once the running board is crafted into shape, all areas are checked for dimensional accuracy, proper contour, and good surface quality before any final finish is applied. Then, the thickness of the finish is checked for evenness and color accuracy. It is only after passing these stringent tests that your running board is boxed and shipped to you.248.11 268.80

Founded in 1971 and based out of Cerritos, California, ATS Design got its start in the automotive accessory business with a line of rear spoiler wings that replicated OEM equipment on vehicles of the day. Soon, they branched into their own designs which were designed for fitment on any vehicle. ATS’s in-house engineering and production facilities allowed quick development of new products and fast shipping times, and their focus on customer service and quality control soon led to many repeat customers that were happy to provide good word-of-mouth. Over the years, the company expanded their facilities to include production of running boards, fender flares, and valance panels. Even though the company has grown to over 200 employees and occupies a 50,000 square foot facility today, their motto still remains “Your order is completed on time, every time, defect free".Product Reviews (7)

Quality was good, appearance is as shown and described. The only small down side is the instructions that come with the install kit (not included with running boards). Some of the illustrations require some deduction and while a number of washers was included, the instructions never referenced them as to where to use them. Was this review helpful for you? Running boards look very nice on my Sequoia. Was this review helpful for you? YesNoShare this review:(4)APPEARANCEEASE OF INSTALLATIONPRICE/VALUEQUALITY2012 Nissan Titan | Posted by Tomasz | (Las Vegas, NV)
In general, running boards met my expectations. My problems experienced during installation were with quality of instructions and the use of tap screws provided with installation kit. I had to use online video to understand installation process. As a self-drilling tap screws go, I had to replace them with regular metal sheet screws. After applying 1st self-drilling screw, I faced over drilled situation. It could be attributed to lack of skills, but I did not think it was the case. I successfully completed installation with regular metal sheet screws. My suggestion would be to prepare better installation instructions and replace self-drilling screws with regular screws or custom screws that secure better grip on metal under body of the car. I think pre-drilling small pilot hole 1/8†followed by #14 metal sheet screws is much better and more reliable solution. Another thing, I would recommend to the installer to drill screw holes ¼ “ from the top of pinch weld of the vehicle. It will guarantee stronger attachment of the bracket and locks hex head of screws against body fold above. It will make installation easier. Screwing top screws of the bracket requires specialized angle drill due to difficult access restricted by the frame of the truck. Overall, it is good product.3 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful for you?
