Very satisfied with appearance of the running board. Installation, according to the mechanic, was very difficult .Had to do drilling and make mortifications to the brackets. Could not get the running boards light to work. When hooked up and the door was opened, all the interior lights would go out. Lights were disconnected.

My mechanic quoted $350.00 install, but realized the directions were generic and had to make accommodations to install securely. I believe the jr. mechanic was somewhat challenged so the master mechanic stepped in and came up with a another install approach. He used the original manufactured holes from the existing running boards, but had to enlarge the holes. Hence my $325 install quote went to $650. The lights do look great at night, the chrome on the board really "pop" off the truck during the day. I'm pleased with my purchase, maybe recommendation on nearby installers who perform quality install service in your purchasers area would be helpful on your website would help in keeping install costs down for non-commercial purchasers.

Attached running boards to a Nissan Quest and as advertised, they fit well, feel solid, and look sharp. We have 2 1/2 gimpy people in the house now and it makes life much easier. Love the Quest and can easily load a folded wheel chair into the back, but that first step is a big one. Only complaint is after a very easy purchase on-line, got an order shipping date a month out. When the month came and went with no notification got a prompt and helpful email from CARiD saying they would check on it and then whoops! "It will not be shipped for another 2 weeks" and "Sorry, but manufacturer's work is out of our control". That's nice, but if I had not asked I would still be waiting. Response from CARiD was polite, helpful, and prompt, but if you want to take your customer service to the next level then you should be tracking these things as the advertised shipping date approaches and be jumping up and down on your suppliers to either deliver or to provide more accurate estimates. In fairness this was over Christmas, but it does not matter. I would have been fine with 6 weeks out for shipping instead of 4, but I am not fine with having to chase it down myself. You can do better than this!

For people that what to do it yourself, be prepared to make modifications which will include cutting and drilling through steel when mounting running boards. Also when connecting lights if that option is chosen, knowledge of automotive electrical systems. Otherwise leave it for professionals to install.

My previous minivan (Town and Country Limited) had factory running boards. The new one did not and when I approached the dealer it was an additional $800-$1250. No thank you. CARiD had the answer and they look great...work very well and add a sex appeal to the van since it is a Dark Metallic Steel. They are sturdy and easy to maintain. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs a strong running board with sex appeal. The lights are extremely helpful although my only concern would be that the bulbs be LED.

Once installed (correctly), these beauties are a gem in the rough. They are solid and sexy. I had 4WheelDriveParts (a premier custom shop) take nine hours to do the install. They were not too happy. Onki for the price and the quality of these runners needs to spend some serious effort into re-thinking the instructions for the install.
