For me, this optional kit makes the dash looks more uniform. I completed the 42 piece kit before I installed this kit. Without this kit installed, the radio area really stands out but if you want a more consistent look without highlighting the radio area, you'll need to install this kit. It was easy and quick to install particularly after installing the 42 piece kit."
