The Parking Assist Kit is an easy-to-install solution for the perennial problem of dinging your bumpers when parking. The ultrasonic sensors are easily installed in your plastic bumper cover: just drill a hole in the bumper cover and install sensors, then run the wires to the controller and from the controller to the display. Whenever any object is within 5' of the rear of your car or within 2.5' of the front, the proximity LEDs will glow. An adjustable-sensitivity audible alarm will buzz when you get too close, while a numerical readout shows exactly how far away you are.

Many parking assist kits don't work well on vehicles with rear-mounted spare tires, cargo carriers, bike racks or tailgates left folded down, because the sensors see the object, alerting constantly. The Install Bay Parking Assist Kit has a "learning" function that makes these stationary targets invisible.
