When you want the option of being able to carry other gear on your roof rack, a vertical kayak carrier makes a lot of sense, but you don’t want to sacrifice anything to gain that space. The carrier still has to be easy to load, strong enough to provide reliable transport and designed to be gentle to your kayak’s surfaces. The SportRack kayak carrier delivers. It mounts quickly and easily without any tools to factory and aftermarket rack systems with crossbars up to 3.5” in diameter. The carrier’s wide mouth J-profile makes loading and unloading easy, and the steel construction is sturdy enough to carry your kayak safely and securely. The J-style carriers also don’t take up a lot of space on your roof rack, so there’s room left for other accessories.
The padding on the J-style carriers is adjustable to ensure your kayak is protected during transport. 2 heavy-duty tie-down straps with cam buckles are supplied to secure the kayak to the cradles, along with 2 ropes with galvanized steel bumper hooks to attach the bow and stern to the front and rear of the vehicle.
The SportRack J-Stacker Kayak Carrier comes with instructions detailing the installation of the carriers and the loading of the kayak. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer’s defects in materials or workmanship.81.90 133.56
