    The Proloque is the fork mounted bike carrier that's packed with features at an affordable price. It offers fast loading and unloading and a secure platform for safely transporting your bike. For example, the precision skewer secures the bike's forks quickly and easily. Just place the fork dropouts onto the skewer, and then tighten the ratcheting nut until the skewer lever closes with some resistance.

    The single-wall aluminum tray provides a stable platform to transport your bike. It attaches to Thule square load bars. The tray can accommodate wheelbases up to 48" and tire widths up to 2.6". Its versatile design can handle most disc brakes and standard 9mm axles. In addition to the skewer, the bike is secured to the tray with the ratcheting wheel strap through the rear wheel. A One-Key lock cylinder (sold separately) locks the bike to the carrier and the carrier to the rack. To keep your trunk clutter free, we recommend that you transport your front wheel on the roof with the Thule Wheel On wheel carrier (sold separately).

    A Thule roof carrier protects your bike from road dirt better than hitch or trunk racks. And the stable and secure roof rack attachment also gives you the versatility to add other accessories to the base rack. The Thule Prologue Roof Bike Rack comes with everything required for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.

    Note: To use this rack the bicycle must come equipped with a quick release front skewer. This carrier is not compatible with fork dropouts less than 5/32" (4mm) or greater than 13/32" (10mm) thick, and the dropouts must be 3 15/16" (100mm) apart.

    Thule Bike Rack

    I was amazed at the ease of installation of this product. I took my time and read the directions carefully. When I tested it out with my bike, it seemed secure. It comes with a bike stabilizer and a strap for extra securing of the bike. The only thing, I wish it had was a strap to keep the front wheel of the bike from moving. But I secured it with a bungee cord that I provided. Good value for the money.

    Thule Add-On Extension, 918 XTR

    The 918 was delivered promptly, and it is a rugged piece of equipment, just as the original 916 tray carrier is. This is the best bike rack system I have ever had. The only downside is the weight, but that is what makes these devices durable.
