Ground Effects Packages and Body Kits are based on modifications made to race cars to make them more aerodynamic. On the race track, ground hugging spoilers, valances and side skirts reduce the amount of air going underneath a race car, creating downforce and improving traction. Each body panel is engineered for the specific vehicle. All parts are manufactured from the finest hand-laid fiberglass to provide superior strength and durability. Each fiberglass part is shipped in gelcoat gray, ready for prep and paint. All mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included.
Following this procedure is extremely important:If a customer fails to fully open up the box(es) and inspect their merchandise for damage, and signs the freight carrier's paperwork indicating that all merchandise was inspected (which is what is stated on all freight carriers paperwork), inspects their merchandise after the freight carrier leaves and then finds damage, or what is called "concealed damage", neither the freight carrier, nor RKSport nor CARiD will be responsible to replace or pay for repairs to the product.

Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "It took a little adjusting of the fenders and hood hinges, but when we finally got it to set flush...it was a piece of art! The finish wasn't what I was expecting. There are some very minor ripples in the fiberglass, but after six Corvettes I can live with the ripples. The air from the scoop is ported over to the cold air induction and works beautifully. CARiD and RKSport hit a homerun with this one!"

When I say it's a head turner I'm not joking. The SRT8 hood nothing on the RK sport hood. It's the best investment I ever invested in. But the only thing I didn't like was the factory heat shield didn't fit, but overall I love my hood. It changed the whole appearance of the car. Good job."

The hood looks fabulous and fit very well with only minor shimming and adjustments. I installed it myself with a hand from a neighbor. I was very happy to find much attention paid to the quality of the underside of the hood as well. Overall, the hood is a quality product, a great value and I would recommend this hood for any Charger fans out there. As an aircraft guy, I always appreciate good engineering. Ed"

The hood added to the looks with the stainless grill insert in the air intake on the hood. This site needs a picture of my front end and would probably sell twice as many hoods and other products as well."

Where the rear fenders meet the diffuser it seems that the diffuser is designed to have the fender overlap it more but it's not the case. There are rough spots on the paint. "

Had to take them to a spary shop for prep & painting. They fit very well to contours of the C pillar and trunk, except I sanded some down at the roofline to make them blend better at the top. I was skeptical of the "double sided tape" installation approach, but it seems to be quality stuff and is very secure. Great way to help make your ride more distinctive."
