The thin sheet steel that Jeep bodies are made from is only slightly thicker than a beer can and will dent fairly easily. A sharp rock can actually start a tear, like opening a sardine can, as you pass by. Put a stop to that by installing a set of flares from Paramount, made from thick 3/16” plate steel that will make rocks cry and tree stumps crumble. When you have to get there by sneaking in between a tree and a boulder that aren’t as far apart as your fenders, thin is a bad idea.
