At high speeds a properly designed spoiler can provide downforce at the rear of a car, and in some cases it may even improve aerodynamics, depending on the car's shape. The distance between the rear edge of the roof and the back end of the car can be very steep, disrupting airflow and increasing drag. This distance can, in effect, be lengthened or the slope made gentler by a spoiler, which will prevent airflow separation and reduce drag. Of course, these effects can usually only be realized at speeds in excess of the legal limit. The factory installs spoilers more for aesthetics than performance, and now you can have the same image of speed for your car. This factory style spoiler will enhance your car's shape and improve its silhouette.
The Factory Style Rear Spoiler with Light is made of high quality material such as Fiberglass. The fiberglass is precision formed and lightweight. It's secured with screws and gaskets. The spoiler comes with everything necessary for a hassle free installation, including detailed instructions. A 3rd brake light is also included, for increased safety.
And although this spoiler can be ordered unpainted, we strongly encourage you to select the painted option. Our computerized paint mixing system enables us to guarantee that your spoiler will match your factory paint, and it's unlikely that a local body shop will be able to paint your spoiler for less than the price difference.
The Factory Style Rear Spoiler with Light is manufactured in the USA. PURE warrants the spoiler against manufacturer's defects for a period of 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

But the instructions where for a Camaro with a totally different style of spoiler. The drill guides didn't fit into the bottom so I had to modify them. I had to buy hanger bolts and cut hem down, and I had to drill clearance holes in my trunk. It was worth it in the end. I am very happy. If you do install this yourself, use a step drill on your trunk. It's like drilling into an empty beer can.

The only problem I had was that the 6 screw holes were too small for the locator strips so I had to drill them slightly bigger. That is why I only gave a 3 star for installation. Other than that, looks just like OEM. Perfect!

Installation was supposed to be a non-drilling installation, however, after my first attempt, the spoiler did not stick to the trunk very well. I than decided to install it with the supplied items for drilling. This installation went perfect and was not very difficult. The spoiler adhered to the trunk much better this time. It looks great and adds to the overall styling of my car. I would recommend this item. Thank you.

I had it painted to match the color of the car, and the directions were simple and straightforward. Make sure you take your time on the installation and line it up right. Enjoy!!!
