Features:
American Thunder gives you exactly the sound that is promised by the name of the series. The exhaust sound of the American Thunder system has become a symbol of American power that is recognized all over the world. American Thunder is the most popular of the Flowmaster exhaust systems, enhancing power, torque, throttle response and mileage for automobile enthusiasts all over the world.
All Flowmaster exhaust systems give the same improvement of performance. All Flowmaster exhaust systems produce a beautiful deep performance tone. Choosing between the five different exhaust systems is not a technical decision – it is all up to your personal taste. It’s A Sound Decision™. The racing origin is evident in every Flowmaster exhaust system. All the five series of systems are tuned for maximum performance. They differ in technology and tuning, and thus in tone and character, giving you a performance engine sound to your personal liking.
Flowmaster exhaust systems employ two unique technologies, the patented Delta Flow and the Laminar Flow. They give different characters of sound and can be tuned to achieve the desired exhaust note. Flowmaster Exhaust System Technology is so versatile and gives such a high degree of control that it is used both by racers, who want maximum power, and by the U.S. Air Force in Stealth applications, where maximum silence and minimum heat emissions are prime considerations.
Be it for a domestic or import truck, SUV, off-road warrior, daily driver, muscle car, euro-spec cruiser or sport compact vehicle, Flowmaster technicians personally hand select the right muffler, tubing size, resonator, and tip to make the process easy for you. Best of all, Flowmaster stainless steel exhaust systems are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty; ensuring that your exhaust will last as long as you own your vehicle. If you choose aluminized steel products, Flowmaster backs them up with a 3-year warranty.

Flowmaster® has its roots in solving the engine noise problems encountered by California racers in the 1980s. In 1983 Flowmaster’s founder, Ray Flugger, created his first patented design of racing silencers, which dampened noise with minimal loss of power. Ray attached handles to ease carrying the square shaped race mufflers through the race pits, and the mufflers became known as the "suitcase mufflers." Today, the innovative Flowmaster mufflers are the result of years of development with top race engine builders, thousands of hours of dyno research and "real-world" on-track testing.

The Flowmaster exhaust sounds great on my truck, it gives the aggressive sound, and it was very easy to install too. It took me about 1hr to complete it. My 2012 Dodge Ram Rt sounds great, with it I get more mpg.

The customer service and product quality are both everything that I expected. However, I did have some difficulty with fitment. In my situation, it was not a simple plug and play situation. That's where my local muffler shop got involved. Other than that, I love the products and will continue to shop here.

Product was received in a timely manner and was exactly as advertised. Installation was even easier than stock, as the left side tail pipe is designed in 2 pieces as opposed to the 1 piece factory pipe. This made it simple to install over and around the axle and spare tire. I did this installation on my garage floor without the use of a hoist and had it completed in about an hour.

System fits well, although the extension pipe from the converter to the muffler is not long enough and I had to buy a piece of pipe and a reducer to complete the installation. Also the add described the system being stainless steel, rather aluminized pipes.

The Flowmaster muffler sounds great on my truck. I shopped around and couldn't find a better price anywhere. Installation was easy, and it is definitely an exact fit replacement. Thanks for a great experience.

The Flowmaster was very easy to install on my 2007 Dodge 1500. It took me about 2 1/2 hrs to install. The difference in how the truck runs and throttle response is amazing. I would recommend this product to anyone. And the help I received from the live help was great, it made it very easy.

While looking for ways to improve the mileage of my 2001 Dodge 4X4, I had checked into several different exhaust systems. Most were too loud or made a droning noise while traveling down the highway. With the Force II my truck now sounds like a V-8 at idle and under acceleration but is quiet at highway speed. I have also picked up 1 more mile per gallon around town. I would highly recommend this exhaust for the gains in mileage, also ease of installation. It fit all factory hangers perfectly.

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 8 cyl. 4.7L Engine Truck and with the help of CARiD.com, I have transformed this truck into a top of the line Muscle Truck. I purchased this Flowmaster American Thunder Kit and teamed it up with AirAid 301-232 Cold Air Dam Intake System, also purchased from CARiD.com and my truck sounds identical to a Ford Shelby and/or the Cobra. There is a tiny bit of gas mpg increase but the torque and horsepower increased by a lot; very noticeable and the two products combined, make an awesome sound. I recommend the purchase; I'm very pleased.
