The function of the hood deflector is to ricochet insects away from your windshield and hood. Besides being a functional accessory, it also gives your vehicle custom look. The AVS Bugflector II is made of impact-resistant acrylic that shields your hood and windshield from rocks, gravel and other debris. This custom-built application will perfectly fit your vehicle. No-drill installation is quick and easy, the accessory is mounted onto the hood with 3M tape or mechanical fasteners (depending upon the vehicle). In order to protect hood paint from rubbing, the set includes several bumpons, which are applied to the hood during the installation. Vehicle equipped with Bugflector II can be car-washed safely, unless it is automatic "brush-style" car wash. The accessory can be easily removed from the hood for simple cleaning. The set includes installation instructions and required hardware.
