The Remin kits are based on measurements taken on each individual vehicle model by the company's measuring team. These measurements are the base for the computer assisted design creating digital patterns that govern the CNC laser cutters producing the kits. Before any kit is commissioned for production, each piece is test fitted to an actual vehicle, to make sure that the fit is perfect and that the piece is easy to place. The CNC laser cutters ensure that every kit is cut to perfection with clean cuts. The advanced color match system ascertains that the factory match pieces get the very same pattern and color tone as the factory installed trim. The trim pieces are mounted with 3M automotive grade adhesive backing for secure permanent attachment. All trim parts, except the real metal parts, are coated in a scratch resistant, UV protecting polyurethane clear coat. This is a coating that never peels and keeps the color of the underlying material intact. With a Remin dash kit you will never have the problems encountered with traditional wood or wood imitation kits, where wood colors bleach and the protective coating peels. The shipping was quick and the kits have been installed. When I bought my new car in December, I picked a stripped down model and upgraded it with several CARiD purchases. Although it is a tedious task to clean the dashboard and interior surfaces (the car dealer had coated everything with some type of polish) the installation was relatively easy. The result is that I now have a great looking wood grain interior.

Overall, I would recommend this product. It really enhanced the appearance of my vehicle and makes it look VERY expensive.

My wife loved the look in the CR-V and she is now thinking that she wants her Mazda3 to be done the same way. The Japanese Cherry wood in the tan interior is great. Mine turns heads, so will yours.

The product came with a type of glue stick that improves adhesion. However, the product can be difficult to work with, especially the curved or ones that require a bend. The glue should be applied liberally, and then the product right away. Wait until it seems dry enough - a few minutes and slowly check for fit. It is probably best to call about color. I ordered what I thought was the same color, but because 2 different companies supply the product the colors were dramatically different. To my good fortune, they actually complimented each other well enough. The kits are a little pricey, but individual pieces are even more expensive. Choose carefully, and ask for samples first.
