These bars are mounted using a cradle technique and require a vehicle specific mounting kit (sold separately). Oval Tube nerf bars are of straight step style design and are made of tube that is 4" at its widest dimension.

I don't know if the people who wrote these instructions ever bother to read their own writing, but it takes a little deciphering to figure out from the diagram what is what. Anyhow, I managed to install by myself. They look good on my truck (btw, I have a 2012, NOT 2007)."
