Well-Made, but Complicated to InstallNovember 23, 2012 | Posted by Ron F. | 2012 Subaru Impreza (Berkeley, CA)Unlike the easy installation of the front seats, the rear seats were a challenge, on my 2013 Impreza. Partly because it was hard to release/reinstall the bottom seat cushion. Many straps to secure it to the bottom; I think because there's various openings for the child seat anchors. On the seat back, there are cutouts on the rear for the child seat anchors. I also had to remove the Subaru rear seat protector (a "standard option" that came with the vehicle - went to the dealer to remove the plastic anchors, then put on the seat cover, punched holes in the seat cover to reattach the anchors for the "seat back protector"; also had to stick some Velcro on the new seat cover back to match up to where the seat back protector had Velcroed to cloth back. All worked out, but took a while. Only surprise was that the "Monarch" Insert threads were a mix of blue and red, which surprised me; I had expected it to be just black/grey/white (I had picked black as my color). Quality is very high.

Only surprise was that the "Monarch" Insert threads were a mix of blue and red, which surprised me; I had expected it to be just black/grey/white (I had picked black as my color). Quality is very high.
