- Every system includes the revolutionary Secret Weapon Air Filter
- Dyno-tuned air intake pipe constructed of CNC mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum for smooth airflow

- All Weapon-R foam air filters are backed by the Weapon-R Million Mile warranty
To create an air intake system with the highest airflow possible, the engineers at Weapon-R experimented with basic laws of physics. They found that by creating two different air velocity profiles in the intake tube, both traveling at different speeds, it increased overall air speed and volume to the engine, naturally feeding the engine 3 times more air than a conventional air intake system. To implement this patented technology, Weapon-R CNC mandrel-bends 6061 aluminum to the desired shape, and then polishes it to a show quality finish. The intake tube is then matched with Weapon-Rs Secret Weapon air filter. The Secret Weapon air filter features a tuned velocity stack to increase velocity and decrease turbulence. The dramatic increase in airflow results in a greater increase in engine performance than would be possible with any other air intake system.
Every Secret Weapon Air Intake System comes with everything necessary for installation including comprehensive instructions.289.00Brand: Weapon-R Part Number: 306-114-401

The Dragon air intake not only looks cool but sounds great! Every time I put my foot on the accelerator, I hear the sound of the air flowing into my engine. The engine is louder and more grunter now, I feel the difference in speed too. Gas mileage is up, I get 27.7 city and 31.2 highway now! I just have one problem with it, it does not fit my car very well. Just barley fits, rubs against things. Will have to find a way to raise it little. But other then that, I would recommend it.Was this review helpful for you? YesNo(5)APPEARANCEEASE OF INSTALLATIONPRICE/VALUEQUALITYGreat Product| Posted by Cortney B. | 2006 Subaru Baja (Peyton, CO)
Just installed the Weapon-R Cold Air Intake on my son's Subaru. Took less than an hour and had no problems. The directions were clear and easy to read. However, one negative: the directions lacked step-by-step photos - which would be a good thing for us non-mechanic types. Nonetheless, with some experimenting I was able to put on the air intake and it works great - at least that's what my son says. More power and torque in the low end and a nice throaty growl. Next step is a new muffler from CARiD. They seem to have some of the best prices around! Was this review helpful for you? I put on the filter and the ram air kit in ten minutes. The directions were easy to follow. The package also came in a timely manner. I can already tell a difference in my vehicles performance. Was this review helpful for you? This intake is awesome. Super easy install except for my application. I had to buy a T fitting for the vacuums lines. It cleans up engine compartment and you get a noticeable hp gain in the 3500 rpm range. I would recommend this to anyone. Was this review helpful for you? Once received, my son and I installed in about 1/2 hr. Very simple, though the directions weren't very useful (being kind of vague). Really is fairly easy, thus most can install this without instructions just fine. Once used for a period of time, I'll be able to judge better, but at this time, seems like a good quality product. Was this review helpful for you? Installation was relatively painless, takes longer to remove old components. This system did not lower intake air charge tempatures when compared to the intake air charge tempatures I took before the installation. But it does look better than the stock intake components. Was this review helpful for you? Bought intake 6/24 got here 6/27. Took about 1 1/2 hours to install. My car had the AIT(Air Intake Temp) sensor so I had to drill a hole in the new intake. Might seem a little scary drilling into a new part but take your time and it should work out fine. Also, you have to drill the hole bigger than 3/8" to fit the grommet and sensor. I found it helped to remove the 2 bolts that hold the windshield washer tank to get to one of the vacuum hoses. If you know how to change your air filter you can do this. Definitely improved throttle response and it sounds great! Would highly recommend! Looks great at a great price! Was this review helpful for you? YesNo
