Oil impregnated air filters offer great performance and extended service intervals, but when service is required they can be time consuming, waiting for the filter to dry after cleaning and then applying the oil. So if minutes are precious to you there's a performance air filter for you, the Pro DRY S. The Pro DRY S was developed specifically to provide increased airflow and excellent filtration efficiency, in a filter package that could be washed and put back into service in a minimal amount of time.

The Pro DRY S filter contains 2 layers of randomly porous synthetic fabric. This allows approximately twice the airflow when compared to a typical stock air filter. The increased airflow results in more horsepower and torque, better throttle response and more miles per gallon. But this improved airflow and performance hasn't been gained at the expense of engine protection. The Pro DRY S has an excellent 99.2% filtration efficiency rating.

The pleats in the Pro DRY S are evenly spaced for greater dust holding capacity and the tips are rounded for better airflow. They're also 30% deeper than comparable aftermarket air filters for longer service intervals and greater dust holding capacity. The sealing surface and supporting structure of the Pro DRY S are made from 100% polyurethane, to withstand extreme engine temperatures. Flat panel filters are constructed with 4 sides, not just 2, for added rigidity and seal support, and feature a progressive bump seal to ensure an airtight seal.

Under normal driving conditions the Pro DRY S won't need servicing for 25,000 to 30,000 miles. Since a typical OEM paper element should be replaced every 15,000 miles, the Pro DRY S will pay for itself before the first service is required. And when service is required, the Pro DRY S can simply be washed and dried and put back into service; no oiling is necessary. The synthetic filter media dries in far less time than cotton gauze so your downtime will be kept to a minimum.
