Cadillac Escalade EXT 2002-2003, TPMS Sensor by Oro-Tek™, 1 Item. iORO TPMS sensors are a drop-in replacement for the OEM sensors. The two-piece sensor/stem design allows for easy maintenance as the stem can be replaced independently of the electronics. Because they're adjustable for angle, they'll install in virtually all wheels, factory or aftermarket. To ensure proper operation, 4 sensors (one per wheel) are required.

ORO-TEK - FAQ ORO-TEK - Technology ORO-TEK - About

Features:

  • Three sensors cover 90% of the vehicles on the road today
  • Programs to your vehicle with exactly the same procedure your factory sensors would use
  • Sensor is detachable from the valve stem; if only the stem is damaged, replacement is simple and inexpensive
  • Angle of sensor to stem is adjustable to fit a wide variety of OEM and aftermarket wheels
  • Operates with factory scan tool identical to OEM sensors
  • Use new sensors for your winter wheels and tires instead of swapping sensors twice a year
  • One year warranty for all sensors

Maintaining your tires at the correct tire pressure will make your tires last longer, improve your handling and braking, and save on gas. Keep your factory-installed federally-mandated tire-pressure-monitoring system working properly with these universal TPMS sensors from iORO. The factory sensors have a battery life of roughly 5 years or 75,000 miles, and are relatively easy to damage. These sensors will work exactly like your factory sensors, including reprogramming them to the individual corner of the car when they’re replaced or the tires are rotated. They’ll fit virtually all aftermarket wheels, because the angle of the sensor is adjustable relative to the valve stem so they’ll lie flat against the inside of the wheel. In addition, the valve stem on iORO sensors is a separate part, and can be replaced independently of the electronics, which will save a lot of money and hassle if only the valve stem is damaged by road debris, corrosion or a careless tire technician.

Federal law prohibits a tire/wheel technician from disabling the TPMS system. So if you buy new wheels, either custom wheels or winter wheel/tire assemblies, he isn’t allowed to give you your car back until the TPMS system is operational. That means either re-using the original sensors or installing new ones. The labor charge to move the old sensors is nearly as much as buying four new iORO sensors, with fresh batteries already on board. Don’t waste money by trying to reuse old sensors!

ORO-TEK has been in the tire-pressure monitoring business since the very beginning in 2006, when the NHTSA first required TPMS systems be installed on new vehicles. The California-based company estimates that over ten million TPMS sensor will need to be replaced annually, as more new cars with sensors hit the road. OROTEK is heavily involved in efforts to educate tire and wheel technicians about specifics on installing and maintaining TPMS systems in the aftermarket industry, but in educating the public about TPMS systems, and the federal guidelines governing their installation.

Worked great for my Optima. It isn't an exterior part so as long as it works that's what matters. Otherwise it feels pretty good.

I changed the wheels and tires on my 2010 Chevrolet Camaro that required different tpms sensor because the OEM tpms would not work. The technician installed the sensor from CARiD without any problems, and it worked great. The price is great.

This product was extremely easy to install. I replaced my old one because it had broken, and I just put it on my rim inflated the tires to exact PSI and within 10 minutes my flat tire light went away.

TPMS for a 2009 Ford Edge works flawlessly. Great product. Severely over charged for shipping. But still a good value.

2012 Jeep Wrangler | Posted by | (Mahnomen, MN)

I bought four (4) extra TPMS sensor's for my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport from CARiD.com. I shopped around and they by far, gave me the best price. They were of very good Quality and very quick shipping. I have two different sets of wheel and tires for my Jeep and got tired of having to switch the factory sensor's around each time I switched my set of tires. They also worked right away with the electronics of my Jeep. Thank You, CARiD.com!

2012 Ford Edge | Posted by | (Wenatchee, WA)

My wife drives a 2008 Ford Edge AWD. She travels for her job throughout the Pacific Northwest. Where we live, crossing mountain passes in the winter is inevitable. We bought a set of tires and wheels for winter driving but they didn't have the Ford TPMS. Last season the warning light for tire pressure was on all winter. I called the local Ford dealer, $184 per wheel. I found CARiD and bought 4 units for $199. About a $600 savings when you add in 8% tax. No warning light, they must be operating according to Ford requirements. These are not the band type, these are smaller and simpler. I highly recommend these TPMS units for older Fords. I will be looking to CARiD for parts in the future.
