Factory gauges (when they’re installed) can be very inaccurate, and important systems on many vehicles aren’t monitored with gauges at all. Accurate information is vital for the health and proper performance of your vehicle, no matter whether it’s a full-on racer or a high-performance street machine, so Auto Meter gauges are a necessity. But finding a place to mount them can be difficult on many vehicles, and not just any location will do. To be useful, a gauge must be positioned within the viewing range of the driver so the value being measured can be easily monitored.
For ease of monitoring it’s tough to beat the top of the steering column. It’s a traditional place to mount tachs and other gauges because the dial(s) can be read with just a glance. This gauge pod enables two 2 1/16" gauges to be mounted on the steering column. The pod can be attached to the column with double-sided tape, or a 3/16” hole can be drilled through the pod and column on both the right and left side and the pod retained with press-in ratchet fasteners. The gauges are a simple press-fit in the gauge pod.
Comprehensive, illustrated instructions are supplied with the dual steering column gauge pod, and it’s backed by a limited 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Gauges are not included.41.09 43.69
