Jeep Wrangler 1997-2006,DRop Pitman Arm, For Lift Height 4" by Rugged Ridge®. Lifting a vehicle takes more than just slapping on a set of taller springs. Other systems, particularly steering, are affected and if changes aren't made the vehicle's handling can be adversely affected. This drop pitman arm will help prevent bump steer, which can be created when a suspension lift is installed.
- Reduces bum steer caused by a suspension lift
- Reduces angle of drag link
- Designed for 4" lift kits
- Backed by a limited lifetime warranty
When a Jeep CJ/Wrangler is lifted, it may dart one way or another or veer to one side when it hits bumps or holes in the road. This is because the drag link is no longer parallel to the track bar and is now moving the wheels in response to the suspension instead of only steering input. This drop pitman arm will help eliminate bump steer, by reducing the angle of the drag link.65.60Brand: Rugged Ridge Part Number: 18006.50 UPC: 804314123628
Rugged Ridge® is a division of Omix-Ada, the leader in Jeep replacement parts. Based in Suwanee, Georgia, Rugged Ridge was begun almost two decades ago when the enthusiasts at Omix-Ada decided that even a vehicle as tough as a Jeep could be improved upon. Since then, Rugged Ridge has created over 500 accessories to improve your Jeep’s performance, utility and appearance. Unlike parts made for ordinary vehicles, Rugged Ridge knows that every part made for a Jeep must uphold the Jeep tradition of strength and capability, so every part is designed, tested, manufactured and tested again to make sure it’s perfected. Then and only then can it be installed on your Jeep.
