The K&N 69 Series Typhoon Complete Cold Air Intake Kit increases airflow to your engine, raises horsepower and enhances your engine's appearance. The airflow improvement starts with an oversized conical high-flow K&N air filter, installed in place of the restrictive factory airbox. The large increase in filter area over the stock airbox filter results in a huge increase in airflow and a greater capacity to capture and hold dirt.

The increased airflow continues with a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube in place of the factory air path. The Complete Cold Air Kit can be configured as either a Short Ram or Cold Air intake. The Cold Air intake positions the air filter outside the engine compartment, to draw in the coolest air possible. Cooler engine air inlet temperatures result in more power. The Short Ram intake system is located entirely within the engine compartment, where it’s easily accessible. The Complete Cold Air intake is unique in that in case of inclement weather, the cold air tube can be removed and the filter relocated to a short ram tube, to prevent the engine from ingesting water.

The aluminum intake tube is available in various finishes to enhance your engine bay. All components are mounted and connected with high quality materials such as steel, aluminum, silicon or reinforced nylon, to ensure long life.
