          Why let mud, water, dirt and dog hair damage your interior? Give your pet a comfortable, safe ride in the back seat of your car while keeping the upholstery clean and in factory-new shape. Securely held in place by straps around the headrests, ingenious pillow pods that tuck in between the seat back and base, your Custom Rear Seat Protector will not slide around on the seat, thanks to a non-skid layer on the bottom where it rests on the seat base. Choose from one of several fabrics in an array of colors and patterns to complement your vehicle's interior. The fabric of your Custom Rear Seat Protector by Canine Covers is breathable for your pet's comfort. This is a well-made heavy-duty product that should last a long time in daily service, even if your dog is large or boisterous.

          Choose from several fabric styles and colors. The top layer of fabric is engineered to resist tearing from sharp claws. Under this layer is a layer of waterproof nylon to prevent stains from penetrating and to make cleanup simple and easy. Under the nylon is a layer of resilient padding for your pet's comfort, and to protect your car's upholstery from those sharp claws. The final, bottom layer is non-slip fabric, to keep the seat protector firmly in place regardless of how your pet moves around. In addition, you can simply machine wash it, although you may need a commercial machine because of its large bulk.

          Seatbelts are accommodated by tailored holes in the cover, so the occasional 2-legged passenger can sit safely in the back without removing the Seat Protector. In addition, because the belts are readily accessible, a pet travel restraint, like the Ruff Rider is easy to attach, for your pets safety as well. An unrestrained passenger or pet is not only in danger for himself or herself, either of being ejected from the vehicle, or bouncing around the interior. This also endangers the other occupants of the car in the case of an accident. The Custom Seat Protector is also designed to work in concert with the Canine Covers® CoverAll Seat Protector, which attaches to the lower hem with hook-and-loop tape. The tape is already attached to both, and will turn your back seat into a warm, safe cocoon for your pet while you travel, regardless of whether the ride is just across town or across the country. Give your pet a comfortable, safe ride in the back seat of your car while keeping the upholstery clean and in factory-new shape. There's even a seam between the seats to let you and your pet access the front seat.

          Well-Made, High-Quality Seat Savers

          I recently got my new car with leather seats and needed to protect the interior from scratches when I travel with my puppy. I had looked at many companies, but since my car's seats have side air bags, it has been a long search. I ordered the Pet Pad from CARiD and I am very happy with the design, ease of installation, material, and that it doesn't conflict with the air bags. My puppy feels very comfy sitting on the seats now, and doesn't slip or slide on the seats as well. I am very glad on the choice, product quality, and the seats being protected for a small cost.

          Rear Seat Protector For Canine Cover

          Installed the rear seat protector that matches the canine cover we use in our new Buick LaCrosse, and the fit and quality are just as exceptional as the seat cover. The straps go around the front seat headrests (just like the rear seat cover) to securely hold the unit in place, and the protector forms a great barrier between the rear "dog area" and the front seats. The protector attaches to the rear seat cover by velcro and extends down to cover the rear seat footwell area, providing complete protection. I highly recommend this seat protector as the perfect compliment to the Canine Seat Cover.

          I really like this seat cover. I love the rubber backing so our dog doesn't slide around on the leather seats. It's one of the only covers on the market that will actually not slide. It fit perfectly in our 2011 Audi Q5. We have black leather seats, so I bought the fathom color which looks great and blends in nicely. The micro suede is comfy and attracts hair so it keeps it off of the rest of our car. It needed a little brute strength to secure into the vehicle, but after the initial bit, it all went smoothly. My only issue was the price, its quite expensive! But, since I wanted my dog to be comfortable and save my leather seats, I went for it. I would highly recommend it for its functionality, I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

          Based upon the description and price, I bought two of them for two different size cars. They both fit the back seat very well and material quality is very good. The clips to hold on to the back head restraints are good only for removable ones (not fixed ones). We overcame that problem in one of our cars by simply buying some 1 inch stretchable band material, cutting them to size, and stitching them at the top of cover to fit on over the built-in head restraints. It worked very well and the cover fits very snugly and stays in place. I would highly recommend this product.

          It was easy to install. Looks fine. The only improvement I can consider is maybe the fabric could be more textured for an unstable old dog to not loose their footing while sitting up.

          Got this for our new Dodge Charger, was easy to install. The side tabs did come loose when our dog was on it but it stilled stayed in place. Nice thick padding on seat. We love it.
