Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "I love my new Grill- it looks very nice, it also gave my old BMW a nice look. The shipping took a little bit longer than what I expected but I didn't care since I wasn't in a rush! What I did care about was having to break a big piece of the inside plastic so I could open my hood! It would be nice if the factory or whoever makes them remove that big chunk themselves! The Grill is VERY nice thou! Thanks."

Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "The grill is a durable material and fit nicely on my 1999 328i. It took me about 25-30 minutes to fit it properly. I had to cut a notch on the driver side grill. Pretty easy with a kitchen knife. Took the same knife and pulled the brackets into a place to secure. Happy with the look, fit, and cost."

I had to grind a slight notch in the drivers side grill to clear the hood latch. I noticed the thickness of the copper/nickle/chrome metal plating and was quite impressed for a replacement set of grills at 1/4 the price of what BMW charges. "

My original grills where the chrome outer ring with the black blades. I've chosen the chrome ring with the chrome on front of the blades and black on sides of blades. After I recieved them, which was only few days later I installed the new ones, which were easy to install. They made a big difference in the way the car looked from the front. I have an 02' 3-series and now it looks years newer. I highly recommend these grills if you have an older E46 and want to give it a "newer" look and the quality is oem standard not a cheap knockoff. I would definetely order from carID again, actually I'm getting ready to order the "angel eyes" headlights. Thanks carID."
