I would greatly recommend it. For self-installers, I recommend you buy two or three bottles of Crazy Glue that comes with the brush. Apply the glue around the edges of every piece before pasting. Use it especially on slim strips and on parts that have to be bent to stay in place, like the door buttons. Something in this glue works magic with the 3M adhesive behind the pieces, but Do Not Allow The Glue To Get on The Surface of The Pieces or your hands. If you have a dark interior, you need a light color dash kit or if you have a light color interior, you need a dark color dash kit. Go for contrast to magnify the beauty. It looks luxury-like, folks."

I guess they make the same kit for both variations of the overhead console since I had 2 pieces left over. Be sure you test fit pieces before removing the adhesive cover. I used painters tape to create reference points for aligning the longer narrow pieces."

The kit I received from carid was very nice indeed. I am extremely pleased with the end result. A word of caution: Removing the old dash kit and the glue residue is a time and labor intensive job. "

Price/Value Quality "I replaced the original Lt. brown wood paneling in my 4 runner with this 21 pcs Japanese Cherrywood paneling. My interior is Dk. khaki color so the cherrywood stands out so beautifully! However the back passenger door paneling did not have the same amount of coverage as the original did and I am disappointed since it does not compare to the dash appearance at all. The price should have been cheaper if I'd known this but overall the front driver, passenger and dash are a knock out!"

The only pieces that were not used were the steering wheel pieces as they had holes cut for cruise and radio volume controls and there were none on the steering wheel of this model, "
