Both equal and unequal length short headers have their pros and cons. Equal length short headers are the technology masterpiece, created to deliver maximum performance gain over stock and headers with unequal length. You gain some – you loose some. With maximum performance boost they bring, equal length short headers will occupy more space under the hood then any other type of headers, as their design is very complex to achieve the equality. So the installation and further engine works in the headers area would be more complicated having less free space.
