This polished stainless license plate frame is polished, as shiny as you can imagine, and because it’s stainless it will never corrode, rust or peel like chrome. The Laser-etched lettering and logos will never crack, peel or fade, because the power laser actually etches into the surface to the metal. This frame leaves room for expiration tabs near the bottom of the plate, so it’s just a little bit bigger than standard vertically (1/2”).

Unlike our COINED solid sheet stainless steel manufacturing process, other frames you'll find on the Internet are CAST brass, zinc pot metal or other metal, made in Asia somewhere. Cast products are not identical in dimension: they vary in size, form, and finish, and often don't have tabs on the back bottom to secure them to the license plate. All of our 2-hole frames have tabs on the back to secure the license plate.

We use solid stainless steel as a base material for our frames. The reason: stainless steel is not porous, polishes well and doesn't rust. These frames will last! They never rust or corrode. They'll look great for years. Our license plate frames are made in the USA at our production facility located in Tucson, AZ. By controlling every step of the manufacturing process, we make it possible to offer our customers a better frame at or below what you would pay for a cheap foreign made product. When installing the screws, don't over-tighten them. You are only installing a license plate and frame. It doesn't take a lot of torque to hold it on the vehicle (unlike a wheel). Over-tightening of the screws distorts the retainers and makes it very difficult to snap the screw covers in place. Screw covers must "snap" onto the retainers or they will fall off. When properly installed the screw covers act as a theft deterrent.
