MBRP Exhaust Systems

Dodge Ram 1998, Checker Plate Cover for Smokers T-Pipe by MBRP®. CARB Compliant: Yes. Install this aluminum diamond plate cover in the bed of your pickup to cover the horizontal tee of your Smoker stack-style exhaust system. And it also protects the contents of the bed from the heat of the exhaust system. Don’t let a loose piece of cargo burn itself or brand the chrome on your stacks by shifting around in the bed and getting a little too frisky.

  • Polished diamond plate aluminum
  • Installs in minutes
  • Tailor-made for your pickup bed
  • Keeps stack and tee-pipes clean and undamaged
  • Prevents damage to cargo
  • Exit ports for two stacks

A stack-style exhaust system on your pickup is sure to draw attention. But it’s also practical, because it gets a lot of heat out from under the bed, and the exhaust up and out of the way. Add a little style and a lot of protection to the bed with this shiny diamond-plate cover. It’s tailored for your truck and is designed to do more than look good. It protects your exhaust system tee from where it comes through the bed up to the stacks. The cover installs in minutes with the included hardware.

Fifteen years ago, MBRP® started in the exhaust business by introducing the B&B Eliminator, a silencer that quickly became the best-selling snow machine muffler of all time. Exhaust system technology being as universal as it is, they soon branched off into cars, Jeeps, and diesel trucks, with amazing success. One of their secrets has been the practice of making as many universal-fit kits as possible. A couple of extra parts in the box means that a single kit might fit a number of different wheelbase pickup trucks, for instance. Reducing complexity in ordering is better for them, better for their distributors, and a great benefit for their customers, who are more likely to be able to find a kit that fits their vehicle on hand. In addition, they go to great lengths to make sure their systems fit properly every time. Careful attention to design and fabrication delivers a system that doesn’t need customization with a hammer to fit properly before the car or truck comes off the lift.
