Chevy Lumina 3.8L 1998-1999, Thermostat by JET®. 180°F Degree. Jet Low-Temp Thermostats increase horsepower and control engine temp by consistently metering water flow throughout the engine instead of simply cycling open/close, which in OE units creates temperature spikes.

Notes: Installed product is non-returnable.

JET

Features:

  • Designed to reduce engine temperature and produce more horsepower
  • Made from stainless steel
  • Allows the engine to operate at its peak efficiency
  • Provides a precise metering of water throughout the engine
  • Easy to use

Reduced engine temperatures add life to your engine and provide a denser air/fuel mixture which helps produce more horsepower. Consistent control of engine temperature allows an engine to operate at its peak efficiency no matter what the driving conditions. The factory 195° thermostat simply cycles open and closed, this reduces cooling efficiency in any engine. With the JET Performance Low Temp Stat Thermostat 180° thermostat you get consistent engine cooling and a precise metering of water throughout the engine. Constructed of stainless steel.
